Sharp Angular Styling
Following on with the new conceptual styling direction found in the CBR1000RR8 and the CB1000R9, the Airblade features sharp stealth-like looks with clean edges and is pleasing to the eye to say the least. Finally an 110cc scooter from Honda that looks like its supersport siblings.
Combi-brake System
A first for the SA market, especially in the smaller capacity scooters. The new Airblade features a combined brake system similar to that found on the Blackbird. The combi brake system challenge 30% of the braking strength to the front and 70% to the rear reducing the likelihood of one on the wheels locking under hard braking.
PGM-FI Fuel Injection System
Fuel consumption on the Airblade is up to 15% less than a regular carburetor scooter, producing 80% less dangerous fuel emissions. Not only does the New Honda Airblade requires less maintenance per year but through it's fuel injection, performance is greatly increased.
14" Cast Wheels
Scooters of old were seemed to be dangerous and unsafe due to the fact that they were fitted with small wheels, 10" or under. The new Airblade features 14" wheels in front and at the back fitted with tube type radial tyres offering pinpoint accuracy, confidence inspiring handling and the very best in comfort.
