Honda Achieves Second Consecutive MotoGP Triple Crown

28 November 2018

On November 18, Repsol Honda Team (riders: Marc Marquez, Dani Pedrosa) secured the teams championship title at the Valencia Grand Prix, Round 19 of the 2018 FIM* MotoGP World Championship.

With Marc Marquez’s riders title finalized at Japan in Round 16 and Honda’s constructors title secured at Malaysia in Round 18, Honda for the second consecutive year has achieved the triple crown.

This season every manufacturer has made huge improvements to their bikes, making every round tougher than last year. Despite that, thanks to the hard work by Marc Marquez, Dani Pedrosa, and everyone who fought with us, Honda has achieved its second triple crown in a row. I sincerely thank our riders, the team and its associates, our many sponsors, and motor sports fans all over the world for making this a reality once again. Honda will continue to strive in bringing joy to its motor sports fans, and look forward to your continued support.
