Please read these terms and conditions carefully. Submitting an entry for this Promotion and/or participation in this Promotion by you ("you" and "Participant”) will constitute your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, please do not participate.

Important Provisions

There are provisions in these terms and conditions for the Honda Dream Days Promotion ("Terms and Conditions") which have important consequences for you and of which you must take note. The details of the rules which contain these provisions and reasons why they are important are set out below. It is very important that you read all of these rules carefully and not just what we say below. Please also read all of these Terms and Conditions.

• Limitations and exclusions of risk, legal responsibilities and liability. Rules 4.4, 6.10, 9.1, 9.2, 9.4, 11.1 and 11.3 are important because they limit and exclude obligations, liabilities and legal responsibilities that we and other persons or entities may otherwise have to you. As a result of these rules, your rights and remedies against us and these other persons and entities are limited and excluded. These rules also limit and exclude your right to recover or make claims for losses, damages, liability or harm you or others may suffer.
• Assumptions of risk, legal responsibilities and liability by you. Rules 6.6, 6.7, 6.10, 11.2 and 11.4 are important because you take on risk, legal responsibilities and liability, and may be required to pay additional amounts. You will also be responsible for, and you accept, various risks, damages, harm, and injury which may be suffered by you and others for what is stated in these rules.
• Risks of serious injury and death, and acknowledgement of fact. Rules 6.10 and 9.4 sets out that taking a test-drive and also using, receiving or participating in a prize may result in serious injury or death. You acknowledge and accept that such activities carry the risks of serious injury and death, and you accept these risks. This may limit your rights to argue that you were not aware of this.
• Indemnities by you and others. Rules 6.10 and 9.4 require you and your Partner to indemnify and hold harmless us and other persons and entities from and against all types of claims, loss, damages, injuries and death that that may be suffered as a result of the events set out in rules 6.10 and 9.4. This places various risks, liabilities, obligations and legal responsibilities on you and you will be responsible and liable for the payment of the value of the claims, loss, damages, injuries, death and harm that that may be suffered or claimed.

1. THE PROMOTION:

This promotion is the Own Your Drive Promotion ("the Promotion"). The promotion is conducted by Honda Motor Southern Africa (Pty) Limited, Building 6, Maxwell Office Park, Magwa Crescent West, Waterfall City, 2090 ("the Promoter").

2. PROMOTION PERIOD:

2.1 The Promotion begins on the 1st March and ends on the 31st March 2026 (“Promotion Period”). Participants may only register to enter the Promotion between the 1st and 31st March 2026 as set out below, and qualifying test drives must be completed during business hours on a day between 1st March and the 31st March 2026 (both dates inclusive). No registration received after midnight on the 31st March 2026 will be accepted.

2.2 The duration of the Promotion may be extended at the discretion of the Promoter.

3. WHO MAY ENTER:

3.1 Each Participant must comply with the rules of these Terms and Conditions and:

a. be a natural person and be 18 (eighteen) years of age at the date of the entry;

b. be in possession of a valid Identity Document;

c. be in possession of a valid Driver’s Licence; and

d. not be a person contemplated in 3.2 below.

3.2 This Promotion is not open to directors, members, partners, promotional and advertising agents, merchandisers, employees or consultants of the Promoter or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Promoter, or any supplier of goods or services in connection with the Promotion, or their Agencies, organisers and participating Dealerships, or the spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, immediate family member, business partner or associate of any of the said persons.

3.3 A person may not win more than one prize in this Promotion within a 3 (three) month period following the first win. As far as the law allows, the Promoter reserves the right to withhold prizes from any such person, and to reclaim any such prize if a breach of this rule is subsequently discovered.

4. HOW TO QUALIFY FOR THE PROMOTION, AND THE DRAW:

4.1 To qualify, Participants need to attend an Own Your Drive event at any participating Honda Dealership between the 1st and 31st March 2026, register as set out below and also complete a qualifying test drive of a Honda Motor vehicle as set out below during business hours on or before 31st March 2026, and comply with all other requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions.

4.2 Once at an Own Your Drive event at a participating Honda Dealership, Participants must between 1st & 31st March 2026 ensure that Honda personnel at the Dealership registers the Participant's attendance online via a website accessible only to employees of the Promoter and Honda Dealerships, and indicates on the registration form that he or she would like to test drive a Honda Motor vehicle. Your registration will only be valid once confirmed by the Promoter by email, so please ensure you provide a valid email address. No late entries will be accepted.

4.3 To qualify as a "qualifying test drive" under this Promotion, the Participant must have completed a test drive of a Honda Motor vehicle at a participating Honda Dealership, provided his or her valid identity document for the Dealership to make a copy, and ensured that the Dealership has submitted the copy of such identity document to the Promoter by electronic or other means.

4.4 While all efforts will be made by Honda Dealership staff to contact Participants between the 1st March 2026 and 31st March 2026 (inclusive), as far as the law allows, the onus to book and complete a test drive rests entirely with the Participant. As far as the law allows, the Promoter is not liable for any act or omission by or on behalf of any Honda Dealership, that may result in a registration not being successfully submitted, including but not limited to a Participant failing to book and complete a qualifying test drive at a Honda Dealership.

4.5 An audited random draw will take place at the Promoter's offices at the address specified in rule 1 above on 3rd April 2026 ("Draw Date"). Winners will be selected by means of a random draw from a data set of valid Participants.

4.6 The draw on 3rd April 2026 will consist of all entries that fulfil the following criteria:

4.6.1 The Participant is eligible to enter this Promotion in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and attended a Honda Dream Days event at a participating Honda Dealership between the 1st March 2026 and 31st March 2026.

4.6.2 The Participant registered online on the Honda Dream Days website and indicated that he/she wanted to test drive a Honda Motor vehicle.

4.6.3 The Participant completed a qualifying test-drive in a Honda Motor vehicle, at the same Dealership where he/she registered, before the end of the 31st March 2026.

4.6.4 The Participant allowed the said Dealership to photocopy their valid Driver’s Licence, required to take a test drive, as proof on entry for the Promotion.

4.6.5 The Participant allowed the Dealership to pass on the photocopy of their valid Driver’s Licence for record keeping purposes. To the extent necessary, each Participant (by submitting an entry to this Promotion) consents to the use of his or her Driver’s Licence for such purposes.

5. CAN I QUALIFY MORE THAN ONCE FOR THE PROMOTION:

5.1 No. Multiple entries by any Participant will not be permitted.

6. PRIZE:

6.1 Participants stand a chance to win 1 (one) of 4 (four) travel vouchers, each to the value of R25,000 (Twenty Five Thousand Rand) (“Prize”). Each winner will be required to book his or her own holiday destination, subject to the maximum voucher value stated above and in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions of Quartz Travel, as contemplated below. In addition, participants also stand a chance to win a share of R30,000 (Thirty Thousand Rand) in prize money through radio engagement activities associated with the promotion.

6.2 Prize vouchers will be from Quartz Travel (Pty) Ltd ("Quartz Travel") and may only be redeemed through Quartz Travel.

6.3 All prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and no substitutions will be made except as contemplated in these Terms and Conditions. Prizes may not be redeemed for cash.

6.4 Prizes can be booked for one holiday. The voucher can be used to book flights, accommodation and car hire. Should any final travel arrangement costs fall short of the R25,000 total, the difference is not payable in cash. In such a situation, you are advised to request Clockwork to pre-book any extras you would anticipate spending, to reach the total. Each travel voucher expires 6 months after date of issue. Actual trip dates may take place after the 6-month period, but bookings must be completed before the expiry date of the voucher.

6.5 Prizes not booked or taken up before the expiry date of the voucher as contemplated above, for any reason, will be forfeited.

6.6 The prize does not include any additional costs not specified in the prize description. All further costs will be for your own account. The vouchers will be provided electronically.

6.7 Since prizes are provided by third party suppliers, any winner and any other person who uses or participates in any prize may be required to accept the terms and conditions specified by such provider prior to such use or participation, including any terms and conditions of Quartz Travel.

6.8 Contact details for Clockwork Media will be supplied to winning Participants for redemption within 7 (seven) days after the Draw Date.

6.9 Promotional images are merely a representation of the prize and the actual prize chosen may vary. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any of the prizes with a similar prize of comparable or greater value.

6.10 As far as the law allows, only Participants who sign a release, indemnity and acknowledgement form to be provided by the Promoter on the terms set out in rule 9.4.3, and who also procure signature of the same form by any person who uses, participates in or benefits from the prize awarded to such Participant (a "Partner"), will be entitled to participate and to win and receive a prize. Each winner must also ensure that his or her Partner acknowledges and accepts that the nature of the prizes are such that there is the risk of serious death and injury when using, receiving or participating in a prize and that by accepting, using, receiving or participating in a prize, the Partner is accepting the risks of serious injury and death.

6.11 Each winner and Partner must have a valid passport and obtain all relevant visas and travel documentation.

7. AWARDING OF PRIZE:

7.1 A total of 4 (four) winners, each of which will win travel vouchers to the value of R25,000 (Twenty Five thousand Rand), will be selected on the 3rd of April 2026.

7.2 Winners will be announced on the Promoter's social media platforms (including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) and winners will also be contacted via telephone or email on the contact details you provided in your registration form, within a period of 2 (two) days after the Draw Date. In the event that a winner is not contactable or does not reply to the Promoter within 4 (four) days of the first attempt to contact the winner, then such winner will forfeit their prize and another winner will be randomly selected and the same process as described herein will be followed. The first of the alternate winners so selected will then win the prize in place of the winner who was uncontactable. Please make sure you are available on the contact details you have provided, and respond promptly.

7.3 Winners will be required to provide their valid South African Identity Document or legally valid South African residency permits, and provide evidence of compliance with these Terms and Conditions. Should the winner be unable to provide the required documentation upon request, they will be disqualified.

7.4 The Promoter reserves the right to carry out reasonable due diligence to confirm eligibility and help ensure that the use of any such person in advertising or publicity for the Promotion will not bring the Promoter or any of the Promoter’s brands into public disrepute, contempt, scandal or ridicule or reflect unfavourably on the Promotion as determined by Promoter in its sole discretion. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and/or disqualify any Participant/winner that may bring the Promoter brands into disrepute. The Promoter must act reasonably in exercising its rights under this rule.

7.5 The announcement of a winner does not constitute a ruling by the Promoter that the winner has complied with these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter may disqualify the Participant after the announcement should any transgressions or non-compliance with these Terms and Conditions be discovered. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify the winner and select an alternative winner in the event that it reasonably believes, in its sole discretion, that the selected winner has contravened any of these Terms and Conditions or is suspected of any irregularities or fraudulent activities. As far as the law allows, the Promoter's decision shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

7.6 As far as the law allows, only Participants who comply with these Terms and Conditions will be eligible to win a prize.

7.7 In the event that the Promoter withdraws a prize from a winner, disqualifies a winner, or a winner forfeits a prize as contemplated in these Terms and Conditions, then an alternative winner shall be selected pursuant to audited random draw of eligible Participants.

8. TERMS OF DELIVERY:

8.1 Each Participant hereby agrees that, if a winner, his or her name and surname may be publicised on the Promoter's website and on Promoter's Social Media platforms (including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) confirming that he or she was selected as a winner of the Honda Own Your Drive prize.

8.2 The vouchers will then be sent to the winner electronically to the email address provided by the winner in his or her entry. Should any winner not have received his or her prize within 7 (seven) days of the Draw Date, please contact the Promoter at care@honda.co.za.

9. LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY

9.1 As far as the law allows, neither the Promoter, its associated companies nor any of their respective agents, distributors, directors, officers, or employees will be liable for any claim, loss or damage (including claims arising under contract and/or delict), whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever connected to or arising from participation in any way in this Promotion, and/or from use of any prize, the provision or use of the prizes, or any act or omission of any other person. This rule does not purport to limit or exempt the Promoter for any loss directly or indirectly attributable to its gross negligence or that of any person acting for or controlled by it.

9.2 As far as the law allows, the Promoter excludes all warranties (express or implied), representations and liabilities regarding this Promotion and the prizes.

9.3 The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of Participants (including but not limited to a Participant’s identity, age and driver's license) and to reject any Participant who has not complied with these Terms and Conditions. Errors and omission may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

9.4 As far as the law allows:

9.4.1 the Promoter shall not be responsible for a Participant's failure to access the Promotion for any reason whatsoever including, by way of example only, as a consequence of communications or network failures;

9.4.2 you acknowledge and accept that the nature of taking a test drive and the nature of the prizes are such that there is the risk of death and/or serious injury when doing so. By doing so, you are accepting the risks of serious injury and death; and

9.4.3 if you become a winner, you hereby indemnify the Promoter and those persons and entities referred to in rule 9.1, and also hold the Promoter and all such persons and entities harmless, from and against any and all loss, liability, costs, damages, claims, injury and death which may be suffered or incurred by you or a Partner directly or indirectly as a result of using, receiving, participating in or benefitting from the prize. This applies even where the liability, harm, costs, damages, claims, injury or death are direct, indirect, consequential or as a result of negligence.

10. CONFIDENTIALITY

10.1 Participants of this Promotion are voluntarily providing their personal information to the Promoter, its associated agencies and the third party service providers running the Promotion in conjunction with the Promoter. By entering this Promotion, Participants hereby consent and authorise the Promoter to collect, store and use (not share) personal information of Participants for communication or statistical purposes, or such other purpose as may be specified herein, and in accordance with the Promoter's privacy policy as published on the Promoter's website from time to time. Participants are entitled to decline any marketing communication and inform the Promoter in writing should the Participant wish to be removed from all such communications.

10.2 By entering this Promotion, the Participant consents that the Promoter may use names and images taken of the winners/Participants for publicity purposes, without any further remuneration being payable to the winner. All promotional material will become the sole property of the Promoter. The Participant shall sign such documentation as the Promoter may reasonably require to give effect to this rule. However, the Participant/winner has the right to decline participating in any promotional activity and/or to object to these images being used, by written notification to the Promoter at care@honda.co.za, Attention: Marketing Manager. The written notification is to reach the Promoter by no later than the Draw Date.

11. GENERAL

11.1 As far as the law allows, The Promoter reserves the right to terminate this Promotion immediately and without notice if circumstances beyond its reasonable control prevent the Promoter from continuing to conduct the Promotion. In the event of such termination, as far as the law allows, all Participants acknowledge that they will have no recourse or claims against the Promoter or any of the persons referred to in rule 9.1 in respect thereof.

11.2 As far as the law allows, the Promoter shall, acting reasonably, also be entitled to amend these Terms and Conditions by posting the amended terms to the Promoter's website, and the onus rests on the participants to check the Promoter's website for updates to the Terms and Conditions.

11.3 As far as the law allows, no liability shall lie on the Promoter in favour of any participant, winner (s) and/or third party arising from any such cancellation, suspension or termination. As far as the law allows, therefore the Participant waives his/her right which they may have against the Promoter and hereby acknowledges that they will have no right of recourse or claim of any nature whatsoever against the Promoter.

11.4 As far as the law allows, the Promoter's decision on a winner is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

11.5 If part or all of any rule of these Terms and Conditions is illegal, invalid or enforceable:

11.5.1 It will be read down to the extent necessary to ensure that it is not illegal, invalid or unenforceable, but if that is not possible;

11.5.2 It will be severed from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions will continue to have full force and effect.

11.6 It is not intended that any provision of these Terms and Conditions contravenes any provision of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 ("CPA") and therefore all provisions of these Terms and Conditions must be treated as being qualified, if necessary, to ensure that the provisions of the CPA are complied with. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions:

11.6.1 limits or exempts the Promoter or any other person from any responsibility or liability (including, without limitation, for any loss directly or indirectly attributable to the gross negligence or wilful default of the Promoter or any other person, or any person acting for or controlled by the Promoter or any other person) to the extent that the law does not allow this,

11.6.2 requires you to assume risk or responsibility or liability (including, without limitation, for the kind of loss referred to in 11.6.1 above) to the extent the law does not allow this; or

11.6.3 excludes any warranties implied into these Terms and Conditions by law, to the extent that the law does not allow them to be excluded.

11.7 These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of South Africa. As far as the law allows, the Participant consents and submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of South Africa (Gauteng Local Division, Johannesburg) in respect of all matters arising out of or in connection with the Promotion or these rules.
