In Africa, some countries have a road paving rate of less than 20%*1, and even when roads are paved, the harsh reality is that they can deteriorate within just a few years.

Honda Technical College was established in 1976 by Honda founder Soichiro Honda, guided by the belief that education should nurture individuals welcomed by society. Emphasizing hands-on learning, the school has developed generations of engineers.

Honda completed its indoor all-weather omnidirectional crash test facility, a world first, in April 2000. The facility’s role is to check that vehicles achieve elevated, people-centric collision safety performance. This is realized through repeated collision testing in simulated real-world conditions of accidents that actually occur and by making the collision tests more comprehensive.

Established in spring 2025, Honda Software Studio Osaka aims to become a new core of manufacturing innovation.
