Terms & Conditions for Honda Wing Fuel Saving Advertising

1. Fuel Savings & Commuting Claims (Disclaimers)

1.1. Any statements regarding potential fuel savings or commuting benefits are illustrative only and based on assumptions, including typical commuting distance, prevailing fuel prices, and indicative motorcycle fuel efficiency.

1.2. Actual savings may vary and depend on factors such as fuel price fluctuations, riding style, speed, tyre pressures, load, maintenance, traffic conditions, route profile, weather, and the fuel economy of any comparison vehicle.

1.3. Manufacturer or independent fuel consumption figures are achieved under specific test conditions and are not a guarantee of real-world performance or results.

1.4. This campaign does not suggest or encourage replacing a car with a motorcycle. It highlights that commuting by motorcycle may, in certain circumstances, help reduce fuel costs compared to some alternatives.

2. Safety & Legal Compliance

2.1. Riders must always wear appropriate protective gear and comply with the National Road Traffic Act and all applicable regulations.

2.2. The Promoter does not endorse unsafe riding practices. Any riding tips or guidance included in campaign content are for general informational purposes only.

3. Finance, Offers & Dealer Content

3.1. Unless expressly stated, campaign content does not constitute a finance offer, quotation, or commitment to sell. Any finance options advertised by dealers are subject to credit approval, deposits, interest rates, initiation and monthly fees, and the full terms and conditions of the relevant registered credit provider.

3.2. Dealer advertisements may include their own terms and conditions or promotional offers. In the event of any conflict, the dealer’s terms and conditions applicable to that advertisement will prevail for that dealer’s offer.

4. Errors & Changes

4.1. While all reasonable care is taken to ensure accuracy, typographical or clerical errors may occur. The Promoter reserves the right to correct any errors and update information at any time without notice.

4.2. The Promoter may suspend, withdraw, or amend the campaign, including creative content, copy, and mechanics, at its discretion and without prior notice.

5. Liability

5.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its affiliates, and authorised dealers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or claim arising from or related to participation in, or reliance on, the campaign or any associated claims, including fuel savings claims, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

5.2. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes liability for fraud or gross negligence.

6. Personal Information & Privacy

6.1. Personal information submitted via lead forms on the Honda website will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.

6.2. Personal data may be shared with authorised Honda dealers for the purposes of responding to enquiries, arranging test rides, or providing quotations.

6.3. By submitting your information via the website, you consent to being contacted in relation to your enquiry. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time using the channels provided.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1. All trademarks, logos, images, and campaign copy remain the property of the Promoter or its licensors and may not be used, reproduced, or distributed without prior written permission.

8.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
