Features and Style
Performance
The 755cc, short stroke two cylinder engine produces 67.5kW at 9,500 rpm and 75Nm of torque. It is equipped with super sport cylinder technology and pumped-up vortex intake efficiency. Even more impressively, the CB750 weighs only 190 kg at the curb. So that’s a lot of power pushing a lightweight bike.
Technology
The CB750 HORNET features throttle By Wire engine control that offers three default riding modes, RAIN, STANDARD, and SPORT, plus an additional customizable USER mode. You can also look forward to three levels of Engine Power, Engine Brake and HSTC with integrated Wheelie Control. It also features a full colour high visibility TFT screen, and the Honda Smartphone Voice Control system, which links the rider to their Android while on the move and allows voice management of phone calls, messages, music and navigation.
Design
The fuel tank, which is the primary distinguishing feature of the Hornet, is designed to resemble a hornet's wing. There are signs of tension and ferocity wherever you look, underlining true sports intent, from the sharply slanted nose fairing to the razor sharp, minimum tail. The design is also inherently usable for all riders. The riding stance is upright with somewhat rear set foot pegs for natural control and wide handlebars for leverage. Seat height is a very manageable 795mm.
